We saw some monarchs Wednesday flying in our schoolyard. On Friday, we found some caterpillars on the milkweed in the school garden. We are raising some caterpillars in our classroom, too. One is about to make its chrysalis. We are really excited!
We didn't see any monarchs for most of the summer,and we didn't find any eggs till recently. We have been spotting them for the last 3 weeks in greater numbers. They aren't really migrating yet. They are still laying eggs.
