I was kneeling while I weeded. I was in a bright red coat and the bird just came down hovered in front of me and checked me out for maybe 5 seconds! After I'd left the garden, while hanging laundry from the 3rd floor landing I saw a hummingbird feeding on the lobelia flowers. I don't know if it was the same one that I saw earlier.
