Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/27/2009

Number: 1

We still have a few monarchs visiting the wild asters and purple coneflowers up here. We found one caterpillar busily munching away four days ago. There are still lots of milkweed plants around as we had a very wet summer. We are hoping to let this caterpillar turn into a butterfly in our classroom and then release.
