We had hummingbirds here at Bineger Butte - Lebanon OR until the yellow jackets came out in force two weeks ago - also have a big black bee that gets on the bird feeders - we have not seen any hummingbirds since they arrived early in August. I am bringing in the feeders today.

The Rufus left earlier than the Allen by a few days. We witnessed the bees chasing the birds a few times.
When they were here we really enjoyed them. Hope they come back in the spring. If we see them again this fall we will let you know.
