I released a monarch butterfly in my backyard this afternoon at about 3:45 P.M. I had raised it from an egg.I believe that one of its legs was broken. I hope it makes it to Mexico. I watched it for about 5 minutes. It stayed on a black-eyed Susan in my backyard.
