Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/31/2009

Number: 1

All the male hummers have migrated, and I only have two females coming to my seven feeders today! The most we've seen during a recent feeding frenzy this summer was seventeen at one time.
We live on a small mountain, and I've also noticed several sugar maple trees turning color already. Our hickory nut trees are being raided by the squirrels and I saw a large flock of 31 robins feeding in our side yard this afternoon.
