Signs of Fall

Date: 09/01/2009

unfortunate that I woke to sounds of many birds, crows, raven, hawks, eagles (bald and golden) and buzzards....quess one of my deer was hit by a car or the bear got a fawn and they are out in field cleaning up. Th bald eagle backs down to the golden eagle though. While it's great to see so many pairs of eagles and hawks I hate it at the loss of my deer. It is my day off so will make a trek to see what happened. On a lighter note my hummers are doing great. Seems like the migrant male that is gone.....so not so much aggression other than the normal chasing. Anyone have any idea why migrant hummers are seeming so aggressive lately? Colder last night 42 but the day to be in the 70's. So should be perfect travel for migration of birds.
