Sorry I'm late in reporting...
We received our first reports of roosting on August 28. We checked several sights and confirmed some of the larger groups we've seen in the last few years. As of 9/2/09 we've tagged about 250 butterflies so far. That is 100 more than last year's total and we hope to go another week.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 250 monarchs based on observer’s note of having tagged 250.
