I saw a big Monarch female laying eggs on my tropical milkweed. She was VERY lovely and had a darker color to her. She also looked like she had not hatched that long ago!!!! She seemed to appear out of nowhwere, as I have not observed any mating pairs in my butterfly garden? I am in the process of counting the eggs!
