Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/02/2009

Number: 1

Late Wedneday afternoon a female or juvenile Hummingbird came up by our patio doors a few feet away and flitted back and forth a few times as I've sometimes seen them do in the spring when they first come. Seems farfetched, but now I wonder if it was saying goodbye.
For now, that's my verdict.
Videotaped them last on Monday, August 31, nectaring on Hollyhocks.
