This morning my husband said two almost collided with him on the patio this morning. We have been having them at our two feeders quite regularly this summer. Of, course they seem to all be the ruby-throated specie. I plan on leaving my feeders out longer this year as Mr. Vernon Kleen, a licensed Bander, from Springfield, IL suggested at the Hummingbird Festival in Forest Park this year.He said we might attract another specie to our feeders by doing this. I learned a lot more about hummingbirds at the Hummingbird Festival this year! I find them very fascinating to watch!
