As of today, I still have two female ruby throats at my feeders. They are very hungry, fat, and continuously chasing each other away from the feeders. I am confident these girls have been here all summer. I am finding that I have to fill the feeders up more often lately. The two resident males left on different days during the second week of August. Throughout the last couple of weeks, a few females and young hummers left as well.
