I am still seeing and feeding the Rubys every day. I haven't seen as many feeding compared to last summer, except the last 2 weeks of August when we had 10-20 feeding at the feeders all day every day. We have had a cool summer.
I am still replacing the nectar everyday sometimes twice a day to make sure it stays fresh. I have also noticed that I have more females feeding from the feeders right now. One female hummer I have been watching has a slightly longer curved beak than all of the other hummers.
They are such a joy to watch....I will miss them when they fly to warmer weather.
