Today we are down to two male Rubys. One is our resident bird whom I swear is the same one who returns every spring and our yard is his to defend. The other appears to be a younger "migrant." It seems the others are gone for the season. Are they heading south earlier this year, or is it just me? I wonder if it will be colder earlier or stormier later? Any thoughts? Hum on.
