One lone hummingbird caught my eye, it was near the house, darted to some flowers a few feet away, turned and disappeared; I did not see where it went. It did not go to the feeder. I looked for some others, but did not see any. There is lots of goldenrod in bloom along the country roads as well as garden flowers due to lots of rain in Aug.
