Our last MALE ruby throated was Thurs.09/27 at our feeder.
We are still observing at least 2 females or juveniles at our feeder almost constantly for the past week or so. They are very protective of the feeder and very combative with one another.
Loud wing noise and chirping.
Much darting at each other and chasing.
We will report when all this activity ends.
