Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/06/2009

Number: 1

Eating breakfast this sunday morning, watching hummers at the feeders, we see a small balck bear (150 lbs)come out, nose around our buildings, the salt block, cut thru the fresh cut hay field and got a carcass and off for the woods. Seeing more and more bear this year and that is probably why we have less fawns. Also saw one monarch butterfly. We hardley have any butterflies now or moths. Too much pesticide being used in the areas.
I still have 5 hummingbirds hitting my feeders and seem to be hitting them pretty hard. Changed food last night so they always seem to enjoy looking at the different feeders.
