Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/07/2009

Number: 1

Ruby-throated Hummingbird visited one of my feeders and some of the plants this AM around 9:30. Really no way of knowing if it is a fall migrant or a summer resident that has not left yet.

Interesting observation about hummingbirds: They seem to go to different entry ports on a feeder with similar timing used on live flowers, as if waiting for nectar to fill up in one entry port while they go to a different port.
