I have been out of town for a few days, but came back to find I now have between 18 and 20 hummingbirds since I last reported. My yard is a "Backyard Wildlife Habitat" certified by the National Wildlife Federation. I have eight feeders up, plus bat faced cupea, various salvias, butterfly bushes, cyprus vine in bloom, and a very large evergreen wisteria in bloom, plus many other flowering plants that attract hummers. I expect more hummers in the next week or two before October arrives. I will report again at that time.
