A friend of mine reported that she saw up to 20 monarchs in a minute as she walked along Memorial Drive. From her description of the activity, I believe this was our peak. However, I suspect that there will be a secondary push through due to the number of caterpillars I still have from my garden as well as the 5 + caterpillars found in Two Rivers on Sept 5th at the Butterfly Festival at Woodland Dunes. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
