Have not confirmed a male ruby throat since Aug. 23. There are still 3 juveniles at the feeders several times a day. One of them, who is rapidly developing his "beard" and darkening throat color seems to be the alpha bird, often chirping at and chasing the others until all three settle in at their different feeders for a drink.
