Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/09/2009

Number: 1

I spotted a large monarch feeding on a budelia (butterfly bush)
in my backyard garden. I recently completed the identification
unit to distinguish between a Queen and a Monarch and felt confident that I'd observed a Monarch. The weather was warm (85) and clear. The sighting occurred about midday.
