I went to pick up mail from my mailbox...and disturbed a brand new Monarch whose wings were still not completely filled out. Just happened to have my camera with me and sat for half an hour to take a series of shots of this stained-glass beauty as it gained strength. I can only wish it good luck on its journey south...
