Ruby-throats are fighting over my 5 feeders every day all day long. There are probably 12 - 15 minimum of them going at each other for time on the feeders. Occasionally two may get on a feeder at the same time before a third comes up and then they all fly off fighting each other. This has been going on for several weeks now as they are migrating thru the area on their way to lower Mexico. Most of the Ruby throats are males right now. The females have yet to come thru. I expect they will be coming in the next few weeks.
