This morning, here in NW PA, temps. were in the upper 40's so I was surprised to find that the lonesome female hummer is still around. Visiting the feeder and perching near it for long periods of time. Rain, in the late afternoon, did not discourage her. It was a first for me to see a hummer taking a shower right in the open.
