Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/11/2009

Number: 1

Today my 4th grade students release 22 monarch butterflies. Each student wore a symbolic pair of monarch wings that they designed and a head band with the name of their monarch. The students' excitement swelled as the butterflies flew into the bright blue sky! It was a TRUE MONARCH DAY! All 22 butterflies had been tagged. My class and I(Ms. Turne's 4th grade) hope that some of them make it to Mexico.
