Still trying to get rid of invasive honeysuckle. Last year I added columbine. It spread nicely this year. I've added several butterfly weed plants during the last two years.

This year I cultivated cynanchum laeve (not sure of spelling; I've seen it mentioned as a food source for monarch larvae). I saw several caterpillars on it this summer, but mostly first or second instar. I'm not sure if any of them actually developed into butterflies. The plants I grew this year produced at least a dozen seedpods. I'll spread these seeds so next year there will be even more plants.

I also add bee balm this year.
