My second grade class of 25 children planted their Red
Emperor tulip bulbs today in one of the islands in the East parking lot of the school. It was very warm,in the upper 80s, and a bright sunny day. The children worked very hard to plant their bulbs since the ground was very dry and I had to cut the weed barrier mesh before they could continue digging their holes. The children really enjoyed the activity! I divided the class in half and some children read their books while the other children planted. All of the children did a great job!
