We always see a few Monarchs, but we had never seen hundreds of them in one location. We have a few Chinese Elm Trees surrounded by farmland. On our 1.75 acre home site we estimate that there are over 1,000 roosting in our trees. We got some good video of two of the groups. My son discovered the large group roosting at our house. I did a search for information & found your site.
