The weather here has been lousy, overcast, low temperature, and the and the air has been heavy with moister. Most every night every thing outside is saturation. Then the front finally past. Suddenly, monarchs were everywhere. They fluttered with happiness and we had some land on us. Then everything came to a stop.We have seen a lot of eggs and instars but no larva, signs of feeding or droppings.
We were able to rear 19 and 3 are in pupae stage - and then there's pokey. It showed up on milkweed being fed to the others.
