Sep. 13th was the last time I saw the female hummer. She did not perch near the feeder as she had done up to the day before and just saw her come by once for a quick sip in the afternoon. At any rate, I haven't seen any hummingbirds in 3 days (reporting 9/16/09). The feeder is still up, but it's become a hummingbee feeder. We had 5 hummers this summer 2 males, 3 females o juveniles. But that's it until next April!
