Our school, Summit Academy, Canton Elementary School had 15 Monarchs ready to come out. We went and found the caterpillars in the wild and have observed the entire process. Today we just released our first Monarch. It flew around the parking lot for a number of min. then came to rest on some flowers. A few min. later it was seen flying in a south westerly direction. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
