The 4th grade class at Eugene Ware Elementary
School in Fort Scott, Kansas, had a 2 inch Monarch caterpillar collected
from milkweed in the area. It formed a chrysalis over the weekend of
September 12 and 13. We are keeping watch and will release it after it
emerges. Just wanted you to know about the late season metamorphosis.
