We went over to Lake Michigan twice more but saw no migration. On Sept 8th we saw 1 monarch along the beach during several minutes of watching and on the 16th we saw none. Both times the wind had a northerly component, light on the 8th and a bit stronger on the 16th. Both times in the afternoon with temps of 70+.
Someone else reported they had seen a few along the beach over Labor Day weekend.

So that is likely it for this fall.
