Comments from the observer:

I am checking at least 2 times a day and have only seen singletons. I am wondering if the strong north winds a couple of weeks ago swept them past us. I see the map shows a dearth of sightings in NE Iowa, so I am not alone in my mystification. I'll keep you informed.
