My husband and I saw a large dark blue/green hummer in the dusky light at 6:30pm. He returned to the window nectar feeder 3 times that we saw. My photos were pitifully blurred. After checking many websites we have come to the conclusion that we saw a male Green Violet-ear hummingbird. In the dusk it looked very dark all over except for a light lower belly. Black curved beak.
