I am alarmed! I have seen only 3 Monarchs this summer. One was in July, one in late August and one in early September. I have found NO eggs nor andy caterpillars.

Usually I find caterpillars in milkweed fields around the town, but this year I have found none. I have been looking since the end of August.

We had an unusually rainy July with cool temps. August was sunny (two weeks it was hot and humid - no butterflies in sight. The weather has leveled off now and still NO Monarchs. What is happening to them in our area?
