Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/21/2009

Number: 1

I saw one beautiful, fresh-looking Monarch in the pasture at about 3:15p.m. on this warm, still, sunny day.
She was feeding on the red clover blossoms, along with many sulpur butterflies.
When I checked back at about 6p.m. she flew up into a tall sugar maple but in a minute or two returned to the pasture, I assumed to feed some more. She was too distant to be sure.
