Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/21/2009

Number: 1

Still one male, ruby throated hummingbird in my yard. I assume it is the same one that has been here all summer. It has been feasting on cardinal flowers, zinnias, butterfly bush, bright orange impatiens (which I always thought were pretty much nectarless), and orange Mexican sunflower. It is here by 8am in the morning and flits about from flower patch to flower patch in the same pattern each day.
