Unfortunately I've not observed even one more Monarch since the first two in May. Last year the population up here in WI was decimated by the timing of floods and relentless heavy rains for days just when they would have been moving thru, laying eggs etc. This year, 2009, I know of no significantly threatening weather etc. that could have diminished the populations' arrival to this extent. Fewer than last year. And far. far fewer than the two years prior. Sad but true.
