I saw two female hummingbirds, sparring over the feeder. I had seen two at the beginning of the summer, and occasionally throughout the summer, but I thought one bird had "won" the feeder. This sighting was the first time in a while that I had seen two again. I noticed that one hummer (the one that stayed at the feeder after chasing the other away) looked a little more plump than usual. She's getting ready for her long journey.
