On Sept. 14the one lone hummer spent the entire day feeding from the blossoms in my garden. It would rest for 5 or 10 minutes either in the maple tree out back or on the short line between the deck and the fence and then back to the flowers. I saw it first thing the morning of the 15th. one last time feeding at the Coral honeysuckle vine and then it was gone, starting its long arduous journey southward. All my plants are still blooming well and still have two feeders up for any migrants coming down from the north
