Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/23/2009

Number: 1

We still have several Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds coming to our feeders and flowers. They are my alarm clock! Every morning (throughout the day and evening) both males and females chase each other to drink from the feeder outside my bedroom window. I have several other feeders that are identical, including very similar locations, but they all prefer this one. While we never have many birds, our numbers have been increasing, so I can tell that we have hummers that are migrating through, and they are needing nourishment!
