Hummingbirds are still here, males & females. I have 3 feeders and refill one every few days. There is no great influx of hummingbirds--I imagine that it is the same few families that live here every year. It has been exceedingly dry for the past two months and flowers would all be dead if I did not water. One hummer seemed very interested in the water droplets being scattered by a cardinal in a birdbath, but when the cardinal left, the hummer did not visit the water--it was probably too deep.
