I watched my faithful lady hummingbird really busy around the feeder early on September 16. Since then, the feeder has hung quietly and she hasn't been around to question all garden activity. Sunday, as I did dishes, I watched a female hummingbird busily feeding from the morning glories that festoon the dog run. I haven't seen or heard any around this week since Sunday.
