We have had a very stern female hummer guarding her food supply all last week. She drank often from the feeder and appeared to be gaining weight. Last time I saw her was Mon. 09/21/09. Tues. 9/22/09 and Wed. 9/23/09 We have seen a male at the feeder, where the female had been formerly on guard on top of the feeder post.
