As we stood upon the hill outside our school building, we observed 12 monarchs passing by overhead over the course of 2 hours. It is an open spot which was a great motivation for us to continue to keep track of the monarchs as they travel south. My observation time: I was watching for __2_ hours and ___ minutes.
