Had two hummers at first light again but both were males. Then at noon the traffic was slower but still two males. While eating dinner observed a fat little female on the new feeder I put out the other day. The male was sitting on a limb in the Japanese Maple guarding his feeder hanging in front of the dinning room window. His back was to her so she sat there a long time and ate regularly. Have light rain tonight but will be watching again early in the morning.
