I moved milkweed from VB to Charlotte when I relocated in May. Brought three chrysallis from a VB visit later in summer...released three monarchs and still saw no signs of mating or eggs on the milkweed...UNTIL sept 8th! I currently have 26 caterpillars about to go into chrysallis!! I saw one lone monarch fly through the yard yesterday.
