A hummer came into our back yard to feed on our flowers. We don't have all that many, but it came very close to us as we were sitting outside - hovered for a few seconds just looking at us then left. We saw it or another again a couple hours later & a total of 3 times that day. The next day I went & purchased a feeder, but no hummer has found it yet that I am aware of.
